Sharon Durdant-Hollamby

President of the Institute of Chartered Foresters, a Chartered Arboriculturist, and an Expert Witness, Sharon’s specialties are trees and construction, protected trees, tree root investigations, and trees and well-being (including community engagement). Sharon has thirteen years experience as a local government tree and landscape officer, before developing an environmental consultancy in Essex between 2007-2014.  She has appeared on the BBC  and delivers periodical advice on questions related to trees in the Sunday Times Homes section. Now sole Director of her own consultancy, Sharon Hosegood Associates

Previously a professional jingle and song writer,  Noel is the producer and editor of the podcast, and the creator of the films that Sharon Hosegood Associates has made over the last 6 years.

With a passion to get the message about trees and well-being  to a wider audience, the podcast allows his creativity to engage the listener and viewer in something that is not just a conversation.

Tree Expert she may be, but Sharon is no stranger behind a microphone or in front of a camera . Her unique interview style instantly engages with her guests and then the magic happens!

Sharon Hosegood Associates is an innovative arboricultural consultancy providing advice on managing trees on development sites, in the wider landscape and within the community. We have particular expertise in trees and the planning process,  and provide bespoke, yet pragmatic arboricultural solutions to the construction industry, local authorities and landowners

Production of just one episode can take up to two weeks, from researching the guest, creating the story, and putting together the finished show. If it’s a ‘two-parter’, it can take a month!
